Leslie Ferrar, Non-Executive Chairman
Leslie started her career with KPMG where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and went on to become partner, a position she held for 17 years. She subsequently went on to be the treasurer for TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall for seven years. Leslie is an internationally experienced business leader in both the private and public sectors at board level and is currently a non-executive director of a number of organisations including Penna Consulting plc, CAFOD and Breakthrough Breast Cancer as well as a non-executive member of HMRC’s Audit Committee.
Neil Austin, Non-Executive Director
With a career spanning more than 35 years, Neil is an expert in strategy and corporate finance and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and other public market transactions. He was a Partner at KPMG for over twenty years, latterly serving as Head of Global Markets, in charge of KPMG’s global accounts, marketing, sales and industry groups and with a leading role in developing the firm’s global strategy.
Josu joined Risk Advisory in 2012 as head of Finance. Josu has over 20 years’ experience and has worked in both accounting and international corporations in senior finance management and audit roles.
David was a founding member of our Security Intelligence and Analysis practice in 2001. He was head of this practice until 2012 when he was appointed Chief Information Officer for the company. He is a specialist in terrorism and was involved in the establishment of the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at the University of St Andrews. He is the author of numerous papers, essays and articles on international security.
Richard Prior, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer
Richard was a founder of Risk Advisory. Until 1999 he headed the company’s Moscow office. He formerly worked in the international energy industry.
Chris is head of the Washington DC office of Risk Advisory. He joined the Group in 2003 and worked at the headquarters office in London before relocating to the USA in 2010. He has particular expertise in Latin America and is a Spanish speaker.
Bill Waite, Group Chief Executive Officer
Bill trained as a barrister and practised at the criminal bar of England and Wales. He later joined the UK’s Serious Fraud Office as a prosecuting counsel before moving into the private investigation and fraud advisory sector in 1995. He was a founder of Risk Advisory and is a sought-after commentator on anti-corruption legislation and enforcement.
Gary founded our Security Consulting practice in 2001. He was formerly in the British Army and served for some years in UK Special Forces. He is the head of the Group’s Dubai office and oversees our global security operations.
